Caledonia Motorcyclist Hurt in Highway 44 Crash

Union Township (trfnews.i234.me) — A Caledonia man was injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday in Houston County.

The crash happened at about 12:01 p.m. on September 20, 2026.

It occurred on Highway 44 near milepost 62 in Union Township.

Only one vehicle was involved in the crash.

Motorcycle Loses Control on Highway 44

A 2026 Suzuki GSX-R750 was traveling east on Highway 44 before the crash.

The motorcycle lost control near milepost 62, according to the crash report.

It then crashed along the highway.

The road surface was dry when the incident happened.

The report did not explain what caused the motorcycle to lose control.

No other vehicles were listed as being involved.

Caleb David Minor, 20, of Caledonia, was riding the Suzuki.

Minor suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening.

He was taken to Gundersen Hospital in La Crosse for medical treatment.

The crash report said Minor was wearing a helmet.

Alcohol was not suspected in connection with the crash.

No passengers were listed on the motorcycle.

Houston County emergency crews responded to the crash scene.

Caledonia Ambulance also assisted after the motorcycle crash.
