WASHINGTON (trfnews.i234.me) – The man accused of attempting to assassinate Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump at his West Palm Beach golf course will stand trial in November. U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon set the trial date for November 18, following Ryan Routh’s not-guilty plea to five federal charges, including the attempted assassination of a major presidential candidate.

Prosecutors allege that Routh, 58, was found lurking with a rifle outside Trump’s Florida golf course on September 15, with the intent to kill Trump while he played golf. Routh faces severe legal consequences if convicted, as the charges stem from his alleged plans to target the former president during a campaign event.
