There is more to this story. The dog was found by Enbridge Pipeline employees, who took it in, fed it, made a nice warm cozy spot for it in their heated shop. They started calling and no one could tell them the owners name so one of them called businesses in Stephen, MN and they knew the truck driver. They called, sent pictures of the dog. It was the truck driver's dog and an Enbridge employee DROVE the dog to their house so they could be reunited. They had been grieving as the sheriff thought the dog went off to die. A beautiful yellow lab. Happy ending to the story. I thought people who are animal lovers would want the rest of the story!
