Thief River Falls, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) — A Minneapolis man was injured after being struck by a pickup truck at a Thief River Falls lumberyard on Friday, Dec. 19.
The Thief River Falls Police Department said Angel Lopez Martinez was hit at Northwoods Lumber. Sanford Ambulance evaluated his injuries at the scene, police said.
What Police Say Happened
Police said the crash involved a 2016 Ford F-350. The truck was driven by David Garry of Thief River Falls.
According to the report, Garry was driving on the business property. Police said he turned left in an area between the main office building and another building.
At the same time, Lopez Martinez was pulling a tarp. The tarp was holding items, according to the report.
Police said the pickup then struck Lopez Martinez from behind.

Officers were dispatched at 10:01 a.m. on Dec. 19, according to the police report.
The report did not list the extent of Lopez Martinez’s injuries. Police said Sanford Ambulance assessed him after the crash.
