Fargo Trio Charged in Armed Apartment Robbery

Fargo (trfnews.i234.me) — Three men face felony charges following an armed apartment robbery in Fargo.

Police say several armed men forced their way into an apartment on September 11.

Erick Scott, Gregory Rogers-McKinney and Kennedy Dolo were later arrested in connection with the case.

Each man faces five felony charges in Cass County District Court.

The charges include burglary and robbery with a firearm.

They also include theft of a firearm and terrorizing with a dangerous weapon.

Each man also faces a criminal mischief charge.

The charges are allegations. Each defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

Police Say Armed Men Forced Their Way Inside

According to court records, Fargo police responded to the apartment on September 11.

Two men inside reported that four armed men forced their way through the door.

Police reported visible damage where the apartment door had been struck.

One man said he opened the door and immediately had a firearm pointed at him.

The suspects then allegedly pushed inside and ordered both men onto the ground.

Police say cash was taken from one man’s pockets.

The second man was allegedly held against a wall with a gun behind his head.

Investigators say the suspects took a 9mm rifle from the apartment.

The rifle was reportedly equipped with an optic and laser sight.

A cellphone and additional cash were also reported stolen.

Police estimate the incident lasted about 10 to 15 minutes.

A family member reportedly heard the disturbance and entered the area.

She told police she saw one suspect standing over a man with the stolen rifle.

She reportedly tried to grab the suspect as he fled but could not stop him.

Witnesses said the group entered a gray SUV and left the area.

Investigators reviewed nearby surveillance video and license plate reader information.

Police say the investigation identified a gray SUV registered to Dolo.

The vehicle was located several days later.

Police conducted a high-risk traffic stop and detained the three men.

Investigators later interviewed Scott, Rogers-McKinney and Dolo.

All three were arrested and booked on felony charges.

Police also investigated a possible connection to an earlier reported robbery.

The two men said that incident happened four days before the apartment robbery.

Investigators say the parties had continued communicating through social media afterward.
