NDSU Men’s Golf Closes Regular Season at Kepler Intercollegiate

COLUMBUS, Ohio – North Dakota State men’s golf wrapped up the regular season on Sunday at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate at the Scarlet Course at Ohio State University. The Bison wrapped up the tournament at +53, taking 16th of 18 teams at the event.
 
The Bison shot their best round of the event with a 296, which was led by an even par 71 from Nate Adams. The senior carded a team high four birdies in the round, including two over the final four holes to climb the leaderboard to finish in a tie for 27th at +9.
 
Ian Simonich was second for the Bison on the day, carding his best round of the tournament with a 74. Simonich scored all three of his birdies in the final four holes. He finishes the event at +18, in a tie for 85th.
 
Josh Galvin shot a 75 and Jake Skarperud carded a 76 to wrap the scoring for NDSU on the day. Galvin finishes the event in a tie for 47th at +12. Skarperud finished at +15, in a tie for 73rd. Jack Johnson closed the day for NDSU, shooting a 78 to finish at +22, in a tie for 96th.
 
NDSU will turn to the Summit League Championship, which will be hosted at Covered Bridge in Sellersburg, Indiana from April 28-30.
