Elk River Crash Injures Big Lake Driver on Highway 10

Elk River (trfnews.i234.me) — One driver was injured in a four-vehicle crash on Highway 10 Monday morning.

The collision happened around 6:38 a.m. on September 15, 2026.

The crash was reported near milepost 213 in Elk River, Sherburne County.

Four vehicles were traveling on Highway 10 when they collided, according to the crash report.

Big Lake Driver Taken To Hospital

Jevin Derick Jensen, 27, of Big Lake, was driving a 2016 Honda Civic.

Jensen suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening.

He was taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment following the crash.

The Honda’s airbags deployed during the collision.

Jensen was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.

Alcohol was not suspected in connection with his vehicle.

Lukas Hunter Nelson, 39, of Big Lake, was driving a 2018 Ford Escape.

Nelson was not injured and did not require hospital treatment.

Andrew Lee Tunnell, 38, of Sauk Rapids, was driving a 2024 Ford F-250 pickup.

Tunnell also escaped the crash without reported injuries.

Nancy Jean Hassler, 62, of Big Lake, was driving a 2016 Ford Edge.

Hassler was not injured and did not require medical treatment.

All four drivers were reported to be wearing seat belts.

Alcohol was not suspected for any of the drivers.

The roadway was dry when the crash happened.
