Tynsid Township (trfnews.i234.me) — A Nielsville woman was injured Monday in a two-vehicle crash in Polk County.

The crash happened at about 2:30 p.m. on September 14, 2026.

It occurred at Highway 220 and County Road 9 in Tynsid Township.

The Minnesota State Patrol said a 2024 Ram 3500 was traveling west on County Road 9.

A 2017 Honda CR-V was traveling south on Highway 220.

The two vehicles collided in the intersection, according to the State Patrol.

Nielsville Woman Injured

Barbara A. Snyder, 69, of Nielsville, was driving the Honda CR-V.

Snyder suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening.

She was taken to Altru Hospital for medical treatment after the crash.

Snyder was wearing a seat belt when the collision happened.

The Honda’s airbags deployed during the crash.

Alcohol was not suspected as a factor for Snyder.

Ram Driver Not Injured

Factor Funes Jacinto, 37, of Chicago, was driving the Ram 3500.

Jacinto was not injured in the collision.

He was also wearing a seat belt, according to the crash report.

The Ram’s airbags did not deploy.

Alcohol was not suspected as a factor for Jacinto.

No passengers were listed in either vehicle.

Road Was Wet

The State Patrol reported wet road conditions when the crash occurred.

The report did not identify any other suspected contributing factors.

Emergency Crews Respond

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.

East Grand Forks firefighters and Altru Ambulance also responded.
