Bemidji Man Charged in Alleged Domestic Assault

Investigators reviewed photos that allegedly showed injuries to her eye, lip, and back.
The complaint says one photo showed apparent burst blood vessels in her right eye.
Other photos allegedly showed a bloody lip, bruised eyes, and bruises on her back.
The alleged victim attributed those injuries to Brown, according to the complaint.
Brown Allegedly Admitted Hitting Victim
The complaint says investigators later spoke with Brown.
Brown allegedly admitted striking the woman with a closed fist around July 4.
He said the incident happened at the Ash Avenue residence, according to the complaint.
Brown allegedly said he was upset after gaming equipment was thrown.
He said the equipment was not broken, but he struck her afterward, the complaint states.
The charged offense date remains listed as July 3, 2026.
Case Filed In Beltrami County
The case was filed in Minnesota’s Ninth Judicial District under court file 04-CR-26-1853.
The complaint was issued as a summons.
Prosecutors allege Brown intentionally inflicted or attempted to inflict bodily harm on a household member.
