NDSU Soccer Draws with Idaho State

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State soccer team played out a scoreless tie with Idaho State Sunday afternoon in non-conference action at Dacotah Field.
 
The Bison (3-2-2) produced several scoring chances in both halves, including a goal from Olivia Lovick that was called back for offsides in the second half, along with shots off the post from Olivia Watsonand Ava Stachina in the second half as well.
 
Payton Mulberry picked up her third career cleansheet and second of the season with five saves in the contest. She made two diving saves to push the ball wide in the first half, during Idaho State’s main threatening offensive segment of the game.
 
It is the fourth cleansheet of the season for NDSU, who outnumbered Idaho State (1-3-2) 16-9 in shots on the afternoon.
 
North Dakota State will welcome in Weber State on Thursday for another non-conference match up. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Dacotah Field with the game available on the Summit League Network.
