Aguilar-Beaucage, Buringa Lead Summit League Honors for NDSU

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State softball had four-student athletes named to the 2024 All-Summit League Softball Teams Tuesday morning, announced the league office.

Anjolee Aguilar-Beaucage and Emilee Buringa were named to the All-Summit League Second Team, while Kaitlyn Dunford and Reanna Rudd received Honorable Mention All-Summit League.

Aguilar-Beaucage hit .275 during the league season, with a .362 on-base percentage, recording three of her seven home runs in league play. She finished the regular season with 16 RBI and 29 runs scored primarily out of the leadoff spot. She recorded a pair of multi-hit games and had an 11-game reached base streak during league play. The senior finished with eight stolen bases on the season.

Buringa led the Bison with a .313 average during league play with a .389 on-base percentage. Buringa finished with two home runs, nine RBI and 26 runs scored during the entire season. She also had four stolen bases in league play, helping her to a career high 14 during the entire year. Buringa led all outfielders with four assists in league play and she finished with six overall.

Dunford was 2-2 in the circle in league play, posting a 1.42 era in her freshman season. She allowed just six earned runs in 29.2 innings of work and gave up just nine walks. She finished the regular season with a 6-5 record overall in 21 appearances.

Rudd hit .265 in league play and .280 overall with a .366 on-base percentage. The senior had a double, triple and home run in league play and finished with three home runs on the season, totaling 21 RBI and 16 runs scored.

The Bison will return to action on Wednesday, May 7 with the opening round game of the Summit League Championships against Kansas City. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. in Brookings, S.D.
