SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The North Dakota State men’s cross country team was voted second in the Summit League preseason coaches’ poll released Wednesday by the league office.
South Dakota State earned the top spot with 36 points and four first-place votes, with the Bison close behind in second with 35 points in the poll. Oral Roberts was voted third with 29 points.
The Bison and Jackrabbits tied for first in the team standings at the Summit League Championships last season, with SDSU winning the title via tiebreaker. NDSU returns five of its top six runners from last year in Zach Johnson, Symon Keiser, Hunter Klimek, Jake Arason and Tyson Mahar – who are all seniors in 2024.
