NDSU Women’s Basketball Announces 2024-25 Schedule

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State women’s basketball team and head coach Jory Collins have announced the 2024-25 schedule.

The Bison will play 29 total regular season games, including 13 games at Scheels Center. NDSU will open the season at home for the first time since 2020 hosting Drake on Nov. 4. The Bison will then close the three-game homestand with Eastern Illinois on Nov. 10 and Jamestown on Nov. 15.

NDSU travels to Anchorage, Alaska for the ASRC/ConocoPhillips Great Alaska Shootout on Nov. 22 and Nov. 23. The Bison will face Vermont on Nov. 22 and either Alaska Anchorage or Troy on Nov. 23. The Bison will continue their road swing at Charleston Southern on Nov. 29 and College of Charleston on Dec. 1.

The Bison return to Scheels Center on Dec. 4 for a Women’s National Invitational Tournament (WNIT) rematch with Montana in the Big Sky-Summit Challenge. NDSU closes out play in the Big Sky-Summit Challenge with its first-ever trip to Eastern Washington on Dec. 7.

The Bison continue non-conference play with their first meeting in program history at Tulane on Dec. 10. NDSU then travels to the pacific northwest for its first-ever meeting at Washington on Dec. 18 and its second meeting in the last three seasons with Boise State on Dec. 19. Both contests will be hosted by Washington at Alaska Airlines Arena.

The Bison finish non-conference action hosting Dakota Wesleyan on Dec. 29 at Scheels Center. In total, NDSU will travel over 16,000 miles in non-conference play across four different time zones.

NDSU will play 16 conference games in Summit League play this season beginning at St. Thomas on Jan. 4. The league has moved to a hybrid scheduling model that will see all teams play each other in home and away matchups on either Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday and also include some doubleheaders. The Summit League Championship is set for March 5-9 at Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls, S.D.

The Bison finished last season with the most wins in the NDSU Division I era with a 22-12 overall record and advanced to the Summit League Tournament championship game for the first time in program history along with their second straight appearance in the WNIT. NDSU season tickets will go on sale on Sunday, Sept. 15 and single-game tickets on Tuesday, Oct. 15. Tickets can be purchased at GoBison.com/Tickets.
