The Highway 75 and County Road 21 roundabout north of Crookston is nearing completion. Polk County will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. on Sept. 30. Polk County officials, the Minnesota Department of Transportation commissioner, DOT engineers, Rep. Deb Kiel, and Sen. Mark Johnson have been invited to this public ceremony. The former Toward Zero Death coordinator Holly Kostrzewski, originally from Argyle, the founder of HUGS Helmet Use and Grab your Seatbelt a brain injury education and prevention program for children, and the former Northeast Minnesota Toward Zero Deaths coordinator, will be the keynote speaker.
