- OVER AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME, LONGTINE SEXUALLY ABUSED A FEMALE CHILD WHEN SHE WAS 6–11-YEAR-OLD. THIS BEGAN BY HIM TOUCHING HER GENITALS AND ESCALATED TO ANAL PENETRATION. LONGTINE JUSTIFIED THIS BY SAYING HE HAD SEEN HER DEFECATE SO HE KNEW SHE COULD HANDLE HIS PENIS. LONGTINE STATES HE DID NOT PENETRATE HER VAGINA BECAUSE HE DIDN’T WANT TO HURT HER.
