Bismarck Man Arrested for Attempted Murder After Stabbing Near Ministry on the Margins

BISMARCK, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — A 33-year-old man is behind bars following a violent stabbing incident near Ministry on the Margins in Bismarck, North Dakota. The assault occurred late Friday night, September 13, 2024, and left a 52-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.

Police were dispatched to the 200 block of North 24th Street just before 10:45 p.m., where they found the victim suffering from serious injuries. Officers administered immediate medical aid before the man was transported to the hospital. Fortunately, the victim is expected to recover from his injuries.

Witnesses and video surveillance footage helped police identify the suspect, who was apprehended near the intersection of 24th Street and Thayer Avenue. He now faces charges of Attempted Murder, Wearing a Mask in the Commission of a Crime, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Authorities say the motive for the attack remains unclear. Both the victim and the suspect are reported to be homeless.

The Bismarck Police Department continues to investigate the incident.
