Valley City Man Hospitalized After DUI Motorcycle Crash on 14th Street

NORTH DAKOTA (trfnews.i234.me) — A Valley City man is facing DUI charges after a motorcycle crash left him seriously injured on the evening of Saturday, September 14th.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at around 8:15 p.m. when the 27-year-old man was riding a Harley-Davidson westbound on 14th Street Southwest in Valley City. The rider lost control of the motorcycle, which ultimately tipped over, pinning him beneath it in the middle of the road.

The man sustained serious injuries from the crash and was initially transported to Mercy Hospital in Valley City. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later transferred to Fargo Essential Hospital for further treatment.

Authorities report that the rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was under the influence of alcohol. He is now facing charges of Driving While Under the Influence (DUI).
