FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) – A Fargo man, Ryan Bohn, has pleaded guilty to burglarizing a lake cabin on West Lost Lake, located northeast of Fergus Falls, on Mother’s Day. The 40-year-old was caught on surveillance video driving a boat past the cabin, which later helped authorities connect him to the theft. The cabin’s owner reported that various pieces of equipment, valued at around $1,800, were stolen during the burglary.

Adding a personal twist to the case, Bohn’s uncle, who resides at a neighboring cabin, revealed to deputies that he had sold the boat to Bohn shortly before the incident. Fargo police eventually traced the stolen items to Bohn after speaking with his girlfriend, who confirmed that Bohn had returned home that weekend with the stolen equipment. Following the investigation, Bohn was arrested on August 23.
