The complaint says Rearick reported her granddaughter, identified as S.O., had a therapy appointment.
Records say S.O. did not want to attend, and the situation escalated.
The complaint alleges Rearick slapped S.O. across the face.
It also alleges Rearick grabbed S.O. by the hair and threw her to the kitchen floor.
Court records say S.O. reported pain and fear.
The complaint also says S.O. told authorities she had lived at the home for several years.
