PARK RAPIDS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Shane M. Garner of Deer Creek, Minnesota, is now facing both felony and misdemeanor assault charges following a brutal incident in Park Rapids.
According to the criminal complaint, on July 28th, at 3:37 a.m., police responded to a call in the 300 block of Third Street East, where a man had been severely beaten and knocked unconscious.
Witnesses reported that Garner, along with several others, exited a vehicle and confronted the victim, who allegedly made a comment before being struck by Garner.
The victim was knocked to the ground, suffering multiple facial fractures.
Garner fled the scene before law enforcement arrived but has since been arrested and charged.
