Becker County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Felony theft by swindle charges against Blake Andrew Sundvor, 41, of Frazee, have been dismissed in Becker County District Court after new evidence came to light. Sundvor was initially accused of taking $50,000 for a construction project in Becker County that he failed to complete.
According to court records, Sundvor and a man identified as BL in the criminal complaint verbally agreed in 2021 on a construction project. BL provided Sundvor with a $20,000 check to start the project, which Sundvor began but did not finish. Another $30,000 check was given in August 2022, but Sundvor only returned to the property three times, working briefly on each visit, with the last in May 2023.
In June 2023, BL’s attorney served Sundvor with a “stop work” letter demanding the return of the money and materials. On June 13, the Becker County Attorney’s Office dismissed the charges, citing new information that undermined the case.
