Becker County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Kaylynn Lea Jackson, 20, from rural White Earth Village, faces a felony third-degree assault charge in Becker County District Court following a violent altercation on June 17.
Court records reveal that a special agent from the White Earth Police Department responded to an incident on Loon Drive in Ogema, where a woman was found covered in blood. Witnesses indicated that Jackson and another woman were responsible for the assault. Jackson later admitted to the attack, stating, “I f…ing broke her nose” and “I did it, I come to beat that bitch’s ass.”
The assault appears to have been in retaliation for an earlier incident on June 16, which resulted in Jackson’s sister being hospitalized.
Jackson was released without bail on June 20, with conditions prohibiting contact with the victim. Her next court appearance is scheduled for September 9 before Judge Michelle W. Lawson.
