BELTRAMI CO., Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) — Authorities have provided new details regarding a tragic domestic incident near Bemidji, Minnesota, over the weekend. Arthur Jones, 48, of Cass Lake, is accused of strangling his brother to death early Saturday morning.
When officers arrived on the scene, Jones reportedly told them, “he’s already dead,” while holding his brother in a chokehold. Despite commands to release the hold, Jones refused until officers deployed a Taser. His brother was later pronounced dead at Cass Lake Indian Health Services.
Jones has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the incident.
