Thief River Falls Court Cases Bring Fines, DWI Penalty

THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) — Recent area court cases brought fines, probation, dismissed charges, and a stayed jail term.

State Patrol Cases

Minnesota State Patrol cases included several traffic and driving offenses.

Larry Joseph Hruby, 74, of Goodridge, was sentenced in a DWI case. He was fined $435. A 90-day jail sentence was stayed for two years.

Hruby must complete a comprehensive assessment within 60 days. He must also complete recommended treatment and aftercare. A separate license offense brought a $100 fine.

Meylin Palacios Alaniz, 35, of Thief River Falls, was fined $185 for having no driver’s license.

Lee Allen Redden, 32, of Goodridge, was fined $135. His case involved Minnesota’s Hands-Free Law.

Donna Marie Keogh, 64, of Thief River Falls, was fined $125 for speeding.

Pablo Emanuel Lopez-Rivera, 24, of Thief River Falls, also received a $125 speeding fine.

Gregory Clark Omdahl, 66, of Fargo, North Dakota, was fined $125 for speeding in a special zone.

Michael Ryan Hicks, 21, of Thief River Falls, was fined $110 for not wearing a seat belt. An insurance charge was dismissed.

Alejandro Fabian Atupana Morocho, 40, of Thief River Falls, was fined $285 for driving after revocation.

A no-proof-of-insurance charge against Nathan Andrew Guillemette, 38, of Red Lake Falls, was dismissed.

The same type of charge against Kyrie Emma-Mae Schehr, 20, of Crookston, was also dismissed.

County and City Cases

Daniel Willard Clark Jr., 18, of Thief River Falls, appeared in a Pennington County Sheriff’s Office case.

Clark was fined $125 for driving 70 mph in a 60 mph zone.

Thief River Falls Police Department cases also produced several court outcomes.

Kendarius Jamarcus Dailey, 27, of Thief River Falls, received a stay of adjudication on a domestic assault charge.

The case was continued. Dailey was ordered to pay $210 and received credit for five days served.

He was placed on probation to the court for one year. An emergency-call interference charge was dismissed.

Christopher Micheal Bruss, 45, of Thief River Falls, was fined $135. His case involved failing to stop at a through highway.

Bradley Louis Keena, 59, of Thief River Falls, was fined $135.

His case involved a collision with an unattended vehicle. He was also ordered to pay restitution.

A $50 penalty applied for failing to carry proof of insurance. A related false-information charge was dismissed.

A public nuisance charge against Spring Ann Thias, 54, of Thief River Falls, was dismissed.
