ST. CLOUD, Mn (trfnews.i234.me) – Bryant Garth II, a 28-year-old man from St. Cloud, has been sentenced to 74 years in prison for his involvement in a brutal quadruple shooting in 2022. The sentencing took place on Thursday, August 15, in Stearns County District Court, presided over by Judge William J. Cashman.
Garth was convicted in April 2024 on multiple charges, including possession of a firearm as a felon and four counts of aiding and abetting attempted premeditated murder. The jury also determined that Garth was a dangerous offender and that aggravating factors, such as the involvement of three or more individuals in the crime, warranted the severe sentence.
The shooting occurred on July 6, 2022, near the intersection of 11th Avenue and Sixth Street South in St. Cloud. Garth, along with two other men, opened fire, injuring four people. The victims included a 15-year-old boy shot in the neck and shoulder, a 21-year-old man shot in the head, another 21-year-old struck in the chest, and a 19-year-old shot in the elbow.
Garth’s accomplices, Jamarcus Morris, 22, and Daquan Ledbetter, 30, were previously sentenced to 72 and 63 years in prison, respectively.
