MINNESOTA (trfnews.i234.me) – A federal judge has dismissed a legal challenge against new Minnesota laws aimed at regulating the state’s deer farming industry. The Minnesota Deer Farmers Association had filed a lawsuit seeking an injunction to block the enforcement of stricter regulations, which were implemented last year to combat the spread of chronic wasting disease (CWD).
The U.S. District Court Judge ruled yesterday that the state was not intentionally targeting the deer farming industry for harm, leading to the dismissal of the request. Despite this setback, the deer farmers’ legal team has announced plans to appeal the decision, continuing their fight against the new regulations.
