CASS COUNTY, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A second arrest has been made in connection with a shooting south of Fargo that left a man critically injured. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported that 26-year-old Kyle McLeod of Moorhead was apprehended this afternoon in West Fargo. McLeod now faces serious charges, including robbery, terrorizing, and conspiracy.
This arrest follows the capture of 32-year-old Starmaine Hoeper, also of Moorhead, last Thursday. Hoeper was charged with attempted murder in connection with the same incident.
The shooting occurred last Wednesday night, with the victim managing to call 911 after being shot. He was discovered at the KFGO tower-transmitter site on Highway 81, and authorities believe the incident took place nearby.
Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, West Fargo Police, Moorhead Police, Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Metro Street Crimes Unit, High Plains Fugitive Task Force, and Red River Valley SWAT, were involved in McLeod’s arrest.
