BEN WADE TWP, Pope County (trfnews.i234.me) — Two men were hurt after a pickup slid off Highway 114 south of Lowry.

The Minnesota State Patrol said the crash happened on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. The reported time was 6:33 a.m.

The crash was reported on Highway 114 about one mile south of Lowry. Troopers listed snow and ice on the road.

What happened

Troopers said a 2022 GMC Sierra was traveling north on Highway 114. The pickup then lost control.

The State Patrol said the pickup entered the ditch. It then hit a driveway approach.

The pickup came to rest in the west ditch, according to the report. No other vehicles were listed.

People involved

The driver was Blake William Larson, 23, of Glenwood. Troopers listed non-life-threatening injuries.

The report did not list a hospital for Larson. Troopers said he was wearing a seat belt.

A passenger was Daryl Leonard Young, 48, of Starbuck. Troopers listed non-life-threatening injuries for him.

Young was taken to Glacial Ridge Hospital, according to the report.

The State Patrol said airbags did not deploy. Troopers listed seat belts as in use.
