Update: Duluth Homeless Camp Cleared, Two Arrested; Moorhead Investigates Shootout

DULUTH, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – On Wednesday morning, Duluth authorities cleared a homeless encampment near City Hall, resulting in two people facing obstruction charges. Police and first responders arrived at the site, compelling the campers to vacate the area. City workers then removed tents, trash, and other debris. The city had given the occupants a week’s notice before taking action. The area will be fenced off while crews restore the damage caused by the camp.

Meanwhile, Moorhead police are investigating a shootout that occurred Wednesday night following a property dispute at a home on the south side of town. The altercation escalated to gunfire when one person attempted to leave in a vehicle, leading to an exchange of shots between someone in the car and another individual at the residence. Authorities arrested two men after locating the vehicle and detained a third man at the house. No injuries were reported.
