Thief River Falls, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Underage drinking and unsafe boating practices were reported this week in the Thief River Falls area. Conservation Officer Sarah Jahn stated that individuals under the age of 21 were found consuming alcohol on a boat following a complaint about the boat’s expired registration. Upon making contact, officers discovered that the occupants did not have a single life jacket on board.
In addition to addressing the boating violations, Officer Jahn assisted other Conservation Officers in executing a search warrant in the Bagley area. Further enforcement actions included citations for angling without a license and juveniles not wearing helmets on ATVs.
