Fargo Man Prefers Jail Over Leaving House: Police Grant His Wish

Michael Hurteau

FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Michael Anthony Hurteau of Fargo is now facing felony criminal trespass charges after a bizarre incident on August 1st. According to court documents, a homeowner on the 600 block of 10th Street North in Fargo reported that Hurteau had entered his house without permission.

When the homeowner asked Hurteau to leave, Hurteau reportedly stated that he would rather go to jail than vacate the premises. Fargo police arrived on the scene and obliged his request, arresting Hurteau and charging him with felony criminal trespass.
