Moorhead Woman Held on Second-Degree Murder Charge Following Fatal Stabbing

MOORHEAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Breaking news out of Moorhead, Minnesota: A woman is being held on a second-degree murder charge following a fatal stabbing early Sunday morning. According to Moorhead police, officers responded to a report of a male stabbed in the chest shortly after midnight. Upon arriving at the 1000 block of Third Avenue North, they found a single male victim with a stab wound. He was transported to Sanford Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. His identity is being withheld until the family is notified.

A person of interest was detained at the scene, and police have assured the public that there is no ongoing threat as the victim and the suspect knew each other. The Minnesota State Patrol and Clay County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the initial response, and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is aiding in the investigation.

Although the suspect has not been officially named by the police, 47-year-old Connie Jo Frank is currently being held in the Clay County Jail on a charge of second-degree murder.
