Four Injured in Polk County Two-Vehicle Accident

Polk County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – On Saturday morning, a two-vehicle accident in rural Polk County resulted in four injuries. The incident involved a 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit and a 2012 Chevy Impala, colliding at the intersection of 120th Street Southwest and Highway 75 in Euclid Township.

Injured Parties:

  • Duane Allen Olson, 84, Thief River Falls
  • Jan Maria Armstrong, 74, Rockville, MD
  • Vera Armstrong, 67, Grand Haven, MI
  • Janice Ann Olson, 83, Thief River Falls

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, all injured parties suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to RiverView Hospital in Crookston. The other driver, Jasmine Leigh Moffett, 26, of St. Hilaire, was not injured.

At the time of the accident, Moffett was driving eastbound on 120th Street Southwest, while Duane Olson was heading northbound on Highway 75. The vehicles collided in the intersection. All parties involved were wearing their seat belts.

The State Patrol was dispatched to the scene at 10:41 a.m. on Saturday, with assistance from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
