WILLMAR, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – USDA Grant Supports Happy Halal’s New Venture
Willmar, Minnesota, is set to welcome a new goat and lamb meat processing facility thanks to a generous USDA grant of just over a million dollars. The facility, named Happy Halal, will be constructed in the industrial park, just north of FedEx, according to Michelle Morsky of the CoHi County Economic Development.
Owners and Operations: Greg and Becky Wki, owners of Clean Chickens—a mobile facility that processes chickens on-site at farms—are behind this new venture. Their experience in mobile poultry processing will be instrumental in launching Happy Halal.
Project Timeline: Construction on the new plant is expected to begin in September, with the aim of providing high-quality goat and lamb meat to meet growing demand.
