Sandwich Theft Leads To Robbery Suspect In Bemidji

BEMIDJI, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A theft of sandwiches has led to the arrest of Jerome W. Strong III, who is now facing charges of felony simple robbery and misdemeanor theft in Bemidji, Minnesota. According to court records, on July 18th, Strong attempted to steal four bottles of liquor from First City Liquor. An employee managed to retrieve three of the bottles before Strong threatened him with the remaining bottle and fled on foot. Strong was already known to the store employees for previous theft incidents.

The case took an unexpected turn on July 29th when an officer investigating the theft of sandwiches, a drink, and candy from Orton spotted Strong walking near the Red Pine Estates. Upon seeing the officer, Strong attempted to run but was quickly apprehended.

Jerome W. Strong III is now in custody, facing charges that could lead to significant legal consequences.
