FARGO, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) — Michael Diedrich, charged with the murder of 22-year-old Ethan Larson, has entered a not-guilty plea. The incident occurred outside SouthTown PourHouse in Fargo on March 28, where Diedrich allegedly fatally stabbed Larson during a confrontation.
According to investigators, a bartender reported that Larson and Diedrich had agreed to step outside to settle a dispute. The bartender followed them and witnessed Larson in a distressed state, possibly throwing up blood. Witnesses entering the bar saw Larson approaching them, claiming he had been stabbed.
The bartender identified both men using their credit card information. Diedrich was later arrested after officers matched his driver’s license photo with video surveillance and witness descriptions.
Diedrich’s next court appearance is scheduled for September 5.
