Roseau: Pennsylvania Man Charged With 3rd Degree DWI

Roseau County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Pennsylvania man is facing a gross misdemeanor DWI charge after authorities say he was arrested for impaired driving in Roseau.

Sadan Amador Roqueni Godos, 35, of Seven Valleys, Pennsylvania, has been charged in Roseau County District Court with third-degree driving while impaired.

The charge stems from a traffic stop on June 26, 2026, in the City of Roseau. Court documents state the case was filed in the Ninth Judicial District.

Traffic Stop Leads To DWI Arrest

According to the criminal complaint, authorities stopped a red 2006 Nissan Xterra after it was seen traveling without headlights and taillights after dark.

The vehicle was reportedly traveling west on Highway 11 before turning south onto Highway 89. The driver continued for a short distance after emergency lights were activated.

The vehicle eventually stopped near the intersection of Highway 89 and Center Street West in Roseau.

During contact with the driver, authorities identified him as Sadan Amador Roqueni Godos. The complaint states he told authorities he was traveling home.

The complaint says Godos showed signs of possible alcohol impairment. Those signs included watery and glassy eyes.

Field Tests And Breath Test Reported

According to court records, Godos was asked to complete field sobriety tests. The complaint states he agreed to participate.

During the tests, authorities reported balance issues during the walk-and-turn test. The complaint also states he placed his foot down during a one-leg stand test.

Authorities reported that Godos later said he had consumed five to six beers.

A preliminary breath test was conducted at the scene. The complaint states the test showed a reading of .187.

Previous DWI Listed As Aggravating Factor

Godos was taken into custody and transported to the Roseau County Jail.

The complaint states that authorities later obtained a warrant for a blood sample. Godos agreed to provide a sample at Lifecare Medical Center.

Court documents state that a criminal history check showed a previous DWI conviction in Nebraska in 2022.

That prior conviction is listed as an aggravating factor in the current charge.

Third-degree DWI is a gross misdemeanor in Minnesota. The charge carries a possible sentence of up to 364 days in jail and a fine of up to $3,000.

All charges are allegations. The defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
