NECHE, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – In Neche, North Dakota, 55-year-old George E. Ellis Jr. faces felony aggravated assault charges after an altercation involving a riding lawnmower on July 27th. According to court documents, the victim was on his way to mow a lawn for a neighbor when Ellis allegedly stopped him and punched him in the face. The victim, who suffered a cut above his eye and bleeding from an ear, reported losing consciousness after the attack. Ellis claimed that the victim had run over his foot, prompting the physical confrontation. In addition to aggravated assault, Ellis is also charged with violating a disorderly conduct restraining order.
