Blackduck Man Charged After Children Found in Car
BLACKDUCK, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) — A Blackduck man faces several charges involving drugs and child safety.
Gabriel Louis Beaulieu, 32, was charged in Beltrami County District Court. The case was filed under court number 04-CR-26-1408.
Beaulieu faces three felony counts and one gross misdemeanor count. The charges remain allegations unless proven in court.
Reckless Driving Report Leads to Investigation
The case began during the afternoon of June 16, 2026.
A caller reported a Ford Freestyle driving across the road. The vehicle allegedly nearly struck another vehicle.
A deputy found the Ford parked at a residence in Beltrami County. Two toddler-aged children were seated in the back.
Beaulieu was sitting in the front passenger seat, according to the complaint. The deputy allegedly saw him using an impairing substance.
The complaint says a syringe containing a dark substance was also visible inside the vehicle.

Drugs and Paraphernalia Allegedly Found
A search of the Ford reportedly uncovered a loaded syringe and several small bags.
Investigators also reported finding burnt foil, plastic tubes, cotton swabs, lighters, Narcan, and other drug items.
The complaint lists suspected fentanyl and a crystal substance weighing 4.33 grams.
Beaulieu allegedly told investigators the syringe held a mixture of methamphetamine and fentanyl.
Samples were sent to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for testing.
Four Charges Filed
Beaulieu is charged with exposing a child to methamphetamine.
He also faces a felony charge involving fentanyl, methamphetamine, children, and vulnerable adults.
A third felony charge alleges fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine.
The final charge alleges child endangerment involving the presence of controlled substances.
Each felony carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison. Each also carries a possible $10,000 fine.
The gross misdemeanor carries up to 364 days in jail. It also carries a possible $3,000 fine.
