BEMIDJI, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Sandra Simons of Cass Lake and Kip Neadeau of Red Lake are facing charges following a botched jewelry heist in Bemidji, Minnesota. On July 27th, police were called to Ken K Thompson Jewelry Store after a $44,000 ring was reported stolen. Surveillance footage captured Simons taking the ring. When apprehended nearby, Simons initially claimed she had returned the ring, but during further questioning, Neadeau retrieved the stolen ring from his mouth and handed it to Simons. As a result, Simons is charged with felony theft, and Neadeau faces charges of felony receiving stolen property.
