Breckenridge Raid Nets Meth and Nine Guns

BRECKENRIDGE, Minn. — (trfnews.i234.me) — Law enforcement seized more than 600 grams of methamphetamine during a raid Wednesday.

Authorities also found nine firearms inside a home in the 400 block of Sixth Street South.

Five adults were inside the Breckenridge property when officers served the search warrant.

Several Agencies Join Search

The Breckenridge Police Department took part in the operation.

The Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office also assisted with the search.

Other agencies included the Wahpeton Police Department and the End of the Woods Drug Task Force.

Authorities reported finding more than 600 grams of suspected methamphetamine inside the home.

Investigators estimated the drugs had a street value of about $10,000.

Nine Firearms Recovered

Officers also seized seven long guns and two handguns during the search.

Authorities did not release details about the types or ownership of the firearms.

Dustin Bruns, 53, was arrested after the search.

He is suspected of first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Bruns was being held while awaiting an arraignment hearing.

The allegation remains unproven unless established in court.

Four Other Adults Found at Home

Four other adults were also inside the property when officers arrived.

Authorities have not released their names or current status.

No additional charges were pending when law enforcement released its initial report.

Officials have not said what led investigators to seek the search warrant.
