Complaint Describes Bedroom Dispute
The reported victim said Rossbach assaulted and choked her during an argument. The woman was identified only by initials in court documents.
Rossbach was outside when deputies arrived, according to the complaint. She told investigators that she wanted to explain her side.
The complaint says Rossbach admitted striking the woman twice in the face. She said the dispute happened inside her bedroom.

Both Women Reported Physical Contact
Rossbach told deputies the woman stood and began hitting her. Rossbach admitted to placing her hands on the woman’s neck.
She said she was trying to move the woman from the room. She also said she wanted to stop further blows.
Rossbach described the woman as her second cousin. She said the cousin did not live at the home.
Deputies photographed scratches on Rossbach’s face and arms, the complaint states. She was then arrested and taken to jail.
The filing says the jail transfer happened without incident. No further injury details were included in the complaint.
Charge Carries Possible Jail Time
The charge was filed under Minnesota Statute 609.224.
A conviction could bring up to 364 days in jail. The maximum fine listed in the complaint is $3,000.
The filing also cites two fifth-degree assault convictions from May 19, 2026. It also lists a disorderly conduct conviction.
