Narrative:
On the night of July 19, 2024, a tragic accident occurred on Pembina County Road 4, approximately 4 miles east of Bathgate. A motorcycle collided with a deer, resulting in the death of a female passenger and severe injuries to the male driver. The incident happened around 11:00 P.M. when a deer suddenly came onto the roadway. The impact threw the passenger from the motorcycle, while the driver ended up trapped underneath the vehicle after it entered the east ditch. The driver was rushed to Pembina County Memorial Hospital in Cavalier. Unfortunately, the passenger succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The names of the individuals will be released at a later date.
