Perham Home Break-In: Jonathan Allard Charged
Perham (trfnews.i234.me) — Jonathan Lee Allard, 44, faces felony burglary and misdemeanor trespass charges after an alleged home entry.
Allard, of Mandan, North Dakota, entered the Otter Tail County Jail on June 16, 2026.
The county custody roster lists booking number 002600000530.
Both charges were marked active when the roster was reviewed.
Reported Perham Home Entry
A Perham homeowner reported that someone entered his residence on Tuesday night.
According to a local news report, the homeowner was watching soccer when the front door opened suddenly.
Prosecutors allege Allard entered the home and grabbed the homeowner’s shoulder.
The homeowner reportedly pushed him away and repeatedly told him to leave.
Allard allegedly continued moving farther into the living room.
The homeowner later forced him outside, according to the report.
Police found Allard walking away from the area and took him into custody.

Burglary and Trespass Charges
The felony count alleges first-degree burglary involving an assault inside a building or on nearby property.
Minnesota Statute 609.582, subdivision 1(c), covers that form of first-degree burglary.
The law applies when an alleged burglar assaults someone inside a building or on nearby property.
The second charge is misdemeanor trespass under Minnesota Statute 609.605, subdivision 1(b)(4).
That provision addresses entering or occupying another person’s dwelling without permission or a legal claim.
The full trespass law appears on the Minnesota Revisor of Statutes website.
The public jail roster does not list a bond amount with these charges.
The roster also does not provide a complete incident report.
Court Process Continues
A local report said Allard made his first court appearance Thursday morning.
Future hearings may address release terms, evidence, and the status of each charge.
The Minnesota Judicial Branch provides online access to many public court records.
Jail rosters can change after court orders, releases, or case updates.
A booking record documents custody and lists allegations.
It does not establish guilt.
Allard is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
Charges may be amended or dismissed as the case proceeds.
