LAKE PARK, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – We have an update regarding a Wednesday morning crash in Lake Park, Minnesota, involving a semi-truck and a pickup. According to the State Patrol, the incident occurred at 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 10 and Second Street in Lake Park.
Photos from a TRF News viewer who witnessed the crash show that the pickup was stopped at a light when it was rear-ended by the semi-truck. The State Patrol reported that both vehicles were traveling eastbound on Highway 10 when they collided.
The driver of the pickup, a Chevy Silverado, has been identified as 61-year-old David John Wosick of Fargo. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Hospital. The driver of the semi, 54-year-old Robbie Jay Sahr of Kindred, North Dakota, was not injured.
Alcohol was not a factor for either driver, and both were wearing seat belts. The investigation continues, but it has been confirmed that the driver of the pickup sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
