JAMESTOWN, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – The victims of a devastating crash that injured six people and claimed the lives of two children near Jamestown, North Dakota, on Monday have been identified by family members. The accident occurred on Interstate 94, seven miles west of Jamestown, at around 5:00 p.m. when a Suburban, driven by 30-year-old Stasia Lawson, veered into a ditch and overturned in a slough.
The two deceased children, identified as 10-year-old Kamari Lawson and 7-year-old Logan Lawson, were found later. Stasia Lawson, the aunt of the deceased children, was driving the vehicle. The other children, all hospitalized, mostly suffered minor injuries, although one child is in critical condition.
Family members have shared photos and names of those involved in the crash, and GoFundMe pages have been set up to support the victims. Stasia Lawson, who lives in Cleveland, North Dakota, with a man and their blended family, was transporting her two children and five stepchildren at the time of the accident.
Authorities are still investigating the crash, and no charges have been filed as of yet. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is expected to release more details soon.
