Freeborn County Roll-Over Crash Sends Two to Hospital
FREEBORN COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) – A roll-over crash on northbound Interstate 35 at Milepost 15 in Freeborn County sent two people to MCHS Albert Lea with non-life-threatening injuries on the morning of December 9, 2025.
The crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. when a 2003 Ford F250, driven by 33-year-old Jesus Gonzalez Garcia of Albert Lea, left the roadway and rolled. Garcia and his passenger, 30-year-old Ibeth Acebedo, also of Albert Lea, were both wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Emergency responders from Albert Lea Fire Department, Clarks Grove Fire Department, Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, and Mayo EMS were on the scene. Both Garcia and Acebedo were taken to MCHS Albert Lea for treatment, where they were reported to be in stable condition. Alcohol was not involved in the crash, and the icy road conditions at the time are believed to have contributed to the incident.
