CARIBOU LAKE, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A man from Esko was hospitalized in Duluth after a near-drowning incident on Caribou Lake north of Hermantown. The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office reported that the 64-year-old man fell off a personal watercraft Saturday night and was not wearing a life jacket. He struggled to stay above the water before being rescued by a Good Samaritan on a jet ski. The victim lost consciousness on shore but was stabilized and taken to the hospital by paramedics. Authorities remind everyone to wear a life jacket while riding a personal watercraft or on a boat.
