BUFFALO TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania (trfnews.i234.me) – Corey Comperatore, a former fire chief, was killed while protecting his family during an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Comperatore, 50, used his body as a shield to protect his wife and daughter from the bullets, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro confirmed.
President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden extended their condolences to Comperatore’s family, acknowledging his bravery and sacrifice. Biden also expressed wishes for the recovery of the other injured victims, David Dutch and James Copenhaver, who are in stable condition.
Texas U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson reported that his nephew was also injured but fortunately did not suffer serious harm.
