Spruce Township (trfnews.i234.me) – A Badger man died Thursday night after a motorcycle and pickup collided in Roseau County.
The fatal crash was reported at 8:24 p.m. on May 7, 2026. It happened at County Road 124 and 420th Avenue in Spruce Township.
According to the crash report, a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling north on 420th Avenue. A 2004 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling west on County Road 124. The two vehicles collided at the intersection.
Badger Man Killed In Crash
The motorcycle driver was identified as Paul Joseph Donahue, 49, of Badger, Minnesota. Donahue suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
Authorities said Donahue was wearing a helmet. Alcohol was not suspected for him.
The Silverado driver was identified as Rodney Lee Werk, 53, of Roseau, Minnesota. Werk was not hurt. His seat belt use was listed as unknown.
Authorities said alcohol was suspected for Werk.

Third Vehicle Listed In Report
A 2010 Kia sedan was also listed in the crash report. The driver was identified as Shayleigh Jade McKay, 21, of Devils Lake, North Dakota.
McKay was not hurt. Authorities said she was wearing a seat belt.
The report also listed alcohol as suspected for McKay.
Road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.

Responding agencies included the Roseau County Sheriff’s Office, Roseau Ambulance, Roseau Fire Department, and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.

So sad so sorry for the motorcycle person and his family so sick of drunk drivers killing people I hope they are prosecuted to the full extent of the law abd go to jail for Ling time this is murder
